THE RACE IS STILL ON!


Race goes virtual due to COVID-19


What you need to know:

  1. Once you’re signed up, you are automatically entered in five drawings for a $25 Ganzo’s gift certificate.
  2. Run the 5K at your convenience anywhere, anytime between now and Cinco de Mayo (May 5th).
  3. In May, you will receive your race bib, t-shirt, and finisher’s medal!

Registered participants will be receiving an email with instructions.

The Cinco de Mayo 5K Committee has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 global pandemic; After careful deliberation and in accordance with the Center for Disease Control, we have decided to cancel all race-day activities and move the 2020 Cinco de Mayo 5K to a virtual-only race. We believe this is in the best interest of our participants, guests, sponsors, and volunteers. The race is still on, and all participants will receive a t-shirt, medal, bib, and a thank-you note.

Although the COVID-19 pandemic has changed the logistics of this year’s Cinco de Mayo 5K, we are still committed to providing a great race experience and raising funds and awareness for the Quad Cities Autism Center. Thank you to all participants for understanding and thank you to all our wonderful sponsors for supporting this great cause. We sincerely appreciate your continued support during this unprecedented time.
